fourth form dormitory

The project is a 14,000 SF living center for a private school in Connecticut.  Two dormitory wings are connected by a timber frame common room and anchored at either end by a faculty residence. It qualifies for LEED certification in part because of the super insulated envelope, south facing exposure for passive solar day lighting, and its geothermal heating and air conditioning system. - Photo by Sam Allison.
